We normally maintain a 2-week minimum cancellation period for all reservations. Cancellations with notice within this period are subject to 50% charge of the total reservation or one night's stay, whichever is the greater. No-shows without notice are subject to full charges. Longer cancellation periods apply to major Duke weekends (1-2 months), certain holidays, and extended-stay [min. 1-week] reservations (1 month).

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the making of the reservation, yet within the cancellation period, are subject to only a $25.00 cancellation fee, regardless of the size of the reservation. Liability for cancellations made within the cancellation period due to illness, extreme personal hardship, weather obstructions, etc. may be limited to a $25.00 per room compassionate fee.
