The Inn is located approximately one mile east of Brightleaf Square, the designated center of Durham. We're the first residence on the left, just after the church, as you turn onto Holloway Street from Roxboro Street.
The '500' block in which we are prominently situated was once referred to as 'Mansion Row' and is a designated Historic Area. Within a few miles of the Inn is a wide variety of excellent restaurants and shops.
Even closer is the main public library (one block). The Durham Visitors Bureau and the local YMCA are just 4 blocks away. Within five blocks you will find the Civic Center, the Carolina Theater and the Marriott hotel. The Durham Chamber of Commerce is a short six block walk. Just a mile away is the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the start of the American Tobacco biking and walking trail.

To Get To The Inn:

From Chapel Hill, take the 15-501 Bypass around Durham to the I-85 North and follow the directions below.

From I-85

Southbound (from Virginia): Take Exit 177 ("Avondale and Roxboro Sts./Downtown") and follow signs to Roxboro St. South. This will take you to the left, under the interstate, heading toward town on Roxboro Street.

Northbound: Take Exit 177 ("Avondale and Roxboro Sts."), turn right off exit onto Roxboro St.

After a few blocks on Roxboro Street the road shunts right onto Mangum St. Stay on Mangum St. and note the Visitors Bureau on the corner at the fourth light. Turn left at the next light onto Chapel Hill St., go to the next light in front of the library on Roxboro St., turn left and immediately right at the light onto Holloway St.
We are a block and a half from this point, just after the church on the left. Look for our custom white fence and gravel driveway. Sarah, our sweet, tethered German Shepherd, will likely greet you upon arrival.

From Raleigh, RDU Airport (and other points east): Take I-40 West to Exit 279B ("Durham Freeway/147 North"). At this point, you are about ten minutes' drive from the inn. Go approximately five miles to Exit 12B ("Roxboro St."), turn right, go several lights, pass library on right, and take very next turn right at the light onto Holloway St. The inn is a block and a half down Holloway St., just after the church on the left. Look for the white fence, front sign, and gravel driveway.
